With that said, we see the events that led to tonight鈥檚 triple-threat showdown for the WWE Women鈥檚 Championship between Asuka, Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair.
The video package wraps up and then we are treated to the iconic ring entrance of Charlotte Flair. 鈥淭he Queen鈥 settles in the ring to a big pop and her music dies down.
Asuka鈥檚 tune hits and out comes the reigning and defending WWE Women鈥檚 Champion to the ring. 鈥淭he Empress of Tomorrow鈥 settles inside the squared circle and her music dies down.
Finally, Bianca Belair鈥檚 theme hits and out she comes to a big crowd reaction. 鈥淭he EST of WWE鈥 swings her ponytail and settles in the ring. Her music fades off.
Now the ring announcer handles the drawn out, formal pre-match ring introductions for the champion and the two challengers. The bell sounds and we鈥檙e officially off-and-running with this one.
Charlotte takes it to Asuka straight out of the gate. With Asuka out on the floor, Belair and Charlotte smile at each other and then begin getting after it. Charlotte gets knocked out of the ring and then Asuka goes to work on Belair.
All three end up trading big shots and then high spots until Belair gets a turn in the dominant offensive driver鈥檚 seat. Asuka takes out Belair and then locks Charlotte in a choke, which 鈥淭he EST of WWE鈥 breaks up just in time.
Belair clutches at her knee after breaking up the pin. She limps up to the top rope where Asuka knocks her out to the floor. Charlotte knocks Asuka out and then goes for a huge top-rope moonsault to the floor on Belair.
Asuka kicks Charlotte as soon as she lands and then brings her in the ring where she hits a big top rope spot and a DDT for a close near fall, which Belair again breaks up. Belair hoists Asuka up for the K.O.D. but Asuka gets her legs in the ropes to free herself.
Charlotte ends up blasting Asuka with a big boot to knock her out to the floor. Belair then hoists Charlotte up for the K.O.D. Charlotte lands on her feet but then Belair throws her overhead with a huge German suplex, Asuka knocks Belair out to the floor and tries stealing the pin, but only gets two.
鈥淭he Empress of Tomorrow鈥 locks 鈥淭he Queen鈥 in an armbar and transitions to a triangle choke, with Belair still on the floor. Charlotte muscles Asuka up and tries power bombing her way out of it, but she slips. Belair comes in and hits a sit-down power bomb on Charlotte, but Asuka snatches her up in a rear naked choke. Charlotte breaks it up.
鈥淭he Queen鈥 hits a top-rope moonsault on Belair and Asuka and tries covering them both, only to get a count of two. Belair crashes and burns on the floor trying a move and again clutches her knee immediately. Charlotte and Asuka fight in the ring as Belair is checked at ringside.
Charlotte gets Asuka in the figure eight. Belair limps up to the top and hits a wild 450 splash onto Charlotte to break it up. She goes for the cover but only gets a two. We see Asuka mist Charlotte while she鈥檚 got Belair in the figure four. Belair then grabs Asuka and rolls her up for the win still in the hold. We have a new champion.

Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair Kicks Off SmackDown
We shoot to the ring where the ring announcer introduces Bianca Belair. 鈥淭he EST of WWE鈥 emerges and heads to the ring to kick off tonight鈥檚 show.
The fans chant 鈥淓ST!鈥 after her music dies down. She talks about how she has had to wait forever for something that was rightfully hers in the first place 鈥 an immediate rematch for the title when she first lost it.
She talks about how tonight she finally gets that opportunity and because of that, tonight is when she recaptures the title and no one can stop her.
On that note, the theme for Charlotte Flair hits and out comes 鈥淭he Queen.鈥 She says Belair has her fired up the way she is talking. She says no disrespect to Asuka, she thinks Belair is gonna win tonight in Flair Country.
Flair says so there is no confusion, when Belair does win the title back tonight, she is first in line for the next shot at the championship. She asks Belair what she thinks. The two seem to agree that they鈥檒l fight at SummerSlam if things work out that way tonight.
WWE Women鈥檚 Championship
Asuka (C) vs. Bianca Belair
It鈥檚 main event time!
Michael Cole and Wade Barrett run down the lineup for next week鈥檚 show on FS1, which features Roman Reigns and Jey Uso in the Rules of Engagement, as well as the aforementioned second U.S. Title Invitational bout.
Bianca Belair鈥檚 theme hits and out comes 鈥淭he EST of WWE鈥 for our final match of the evening, which features the WWE Women鈥檚 Championship on-the-line. As she settles into the ring, we head to a pre-match commercial break.
When we return from the break, the theme for the reigning and defending champion Asuka hits. Out comes 鈥淭he Empress of Tomorrow鈥 for our scheduled main event, with her WWE Women鈥檚 Championship on-the-line.
The bell sounds and we鈥檙e officially off-and-running with this one. Bayley and MS. Money In The Bank Iyo Sky are shown with tickets arriving in their seats in the front row for this one.
Belair takes it to Asuka with ten punches in the corner as the fans count along with each shot that lands. Belair whips Asuka into the corner again but gets drop toe-holded into it face-first. This allows the champ to take over on offense.
Now we see Belair knock Asuka down and out. Both ladies are down and recovering and as they do, Cole and Barrett point out that Charlotte Flair has also purchased a ticket and is taking her seat in the front row. On that note, we head to a mid-match commercial break as the action continues.
As we settle back in from the commercials, we see Asuka and Belair fighting back and forth, with no one clearly in control of the offense. Belair hits a nice moonsault for a close pin attempt. Cole points out Bayley, Iyo Sky and Charlotte Flair all hanging around in the front row.
Things continue until finally we see Bayley hop the rail to get involved. Charlotte Flair hops the rail and takes her out, but then Iyo Sky blasts Belair with the briefcase, so the ref calls for the bell. Bayley tells Iyo it鈥檚 time to cash in. Bayley grabs the briefcase as Iyo drags a lifeless Asuka into the ring.
Asuka springs to life and mists Bayley in the eyes and runs off with her title. That鈥檚 how this week鈥檚 show goes off the air. Thanks for joining us!

Bianca says she is the longest reigning women鈥檚 champion of the modern era and she didn鈥檛 have to do it 14 times. And to put respect on her name. Lynch is in the ring and she says there is only one woman responsible for how hot the women鈥檚 division is. She says it鈥檚 so hot we have the likes of Lita, Mickie James and the Bella Twins coming back to try and challenge the Van Goat at WrestleMania. Becky says they need her because she makes stars. Just look at Doudrop, nobody was clamouring for her to get a title match and she didn鈥檛 even earn it, Becky gave it to her. She makes people better, then she beats them.
Lynch says Doudrop came from the rolling hills of Scotand and made a name for herself. Oh wait, no she didn鈥檛, someone else made her name for her. So let her set things straight: a Doudrop will never lead the division while she鈥檚 there. Doudrop took umbridge with something Becky said because she鈥檚 on her way down to the ring. She says Becky didn鈥檛 get her anything, and if she planned for this then it was the biggest mistake she鈥檚 ever made. Becky says she did get her the win and if she follows her lead she鈥檒l get her a win this week as well.
Bianca Belair comes out and says Becky thinks she鈥檚 the greatest but uou can鈥檛 spell greatest without Est. Bianca says Becky was so scared of facing her again that she helped Doudrop win. Well Becky is only buying time because she will be entering the Royal Rumble match. And it鈥檚 every woman for themselves and she doesn鈥檛 care who she has to eliminate to main event WrestleMania again. Of course, out comes Liv Morgan and she says they shouldn鈥檛 be overlooking her because she鈥檚 in the Rumble too. The four of them almost brawl.
Becky Lynch & Doudrop Vs Bianca Belair
Belair and Doudrop start proceedings and Bianca uses her speed to duck and dodge Doudrop, as well as tease her. Bianca attempts a suplex but can鈥檛 get her up and Doudrop lands one of her own. Becky tags herself in but wastes time talking to Doudrop, allowing Morgan to tag in and run over Becky with clotheslines, dropkick and a bulldog.
Doudrop broke up the pin attempt and then all Hell broke loose with everyone attacking each other until Becky hits Morgan with the Manhandle Slam but Doudrop breaks up the pin attempt. Doudrop drags Becky over to the corner but doesn鈥檛 have the sense to tag herself in and the referee won鈥檛 count it, so she goes back over and tags herself, then crossbodies Liv and pins her.
Winners: Becky Lynch & Doudrop
After the match Doudrop goes to the corner and hits a rope-assisted splash to Becky and poses.

We get a look back at Liv Morgan vs. RAW Women鈥檚 Champion Becky Lynch at WWE Day 1. Lynch will be here next for a 鈥淣ew Year with Big Time Becks鈥 segment.
Back from the break and RAW Women鈥檚 Champion Becky Lynch is in the ring as her entrance wraps up.
Lynch says here we are in 2022 and there鈥檚 something about the new year that inspires hope in people. It doesn鈥檛 matter if you failed last year, the past 5 years, or your whole life, things can change for the better when the clock strikes. Lynch knows all the women in the back have a title win at the top of their lists, and she admires their dedication, but at the top of her list is remaining champion. Lynch goes on about how no one can beat her. Many have tried, but they all fail.
Lynch goes on about decisions she made in the last year. She realized she鈥檚 become a work of art. She compares herself to a Van Gogh painting and says she makes us feel because that鈥檚 what good art does. Becky insults people for having New Year鈥檚 Resolutions, takes a shot at South Carolina, and says the women in the back won鈥檛 be winning the title. Becky then takes shots at Liv Morgan. She says Liv broke her promise to herself, and the promise she had to all of the fans. The music interrupts and out comes Morgan to the stage.
Morgan says new year but same ugly jacket and same delusional Becky. Liv says she knows, and Becky knows, just how close she was to winning the title on Saturday. Liv enters the ring and talks about how she gives it her all and leaves it all in the ring every time she gets the chance, and that鈥檚 exactly what she did at Day 1. Becky says that鈥檚 lovely and maybe one day Liv will win the title but not until Becky retires. The music interrupts and out comes Bianca Belair. Belair talks some trash on her way to the ring and says she took a little Doudrop Detour, stepping aside to allow others a shot at the title, but now she鈥檚 back in line for Big Time Becks.
Lynch says Morgan and Belair have just fallen victim to her routine 鈥 beat, sleep, repeat. Lynch talks some more trash and Liv mentions how she knows nothing about the locker room because she hasn鈥檛 been in there in years. Liv tells Belair to leave because she and Becky were in the middle of something. Belair says her history with Becky goes back farther. Becky tells them to get out of her ring but figure out who鈥檚 going to be next, and then let her know. Belair and Morgan end up attacking Becky and tossing her from the ring. Becky鈥檚 title is still in the ring. Belair and Morgan have words now. They start brawling and Belair rams Liv back into the corner for shoulder thrusts. Liv fights her off and drops her with a step-up kick. The brawl continues and Belair goes for the KOD but Becky decks them both from behind. Becky drops Belair with the Manhandle Slam while Liv looks on from ringside, down on the floor. Becky picks her title back up, raises it in the air, and makes her exit as the music hits.
